The Hidden Hardship Exhibition

The Hidden Hardship Exhibition explores people’s everyday experiences of hardship, their coping strategies, and barriers to better wellbeing in the rural North Cotswolds.

The large, freestanding, professionally printed exhibition stands include work by the artist Beth Waters to illustrate research participants’ interview and diary extracts of their experiences.

The exhibition was hosted at Coventry Cathedral in 2024 (full details here), and in 2026 will be at Gloucester Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament alongside the Life on the Breadline Exhibition. If you are interested in hosting the exhibition please contact Dr Stephanie Denning at stephanie.denning@coventry.ac.uk
